End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal contract between you ("User", "you") and EJ Fox ("we", "us") governing your use of the Paperclip mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and this Agreement.

2. Acceptable Use — Zero Tolerance for Objectionable Content and Abuse

You agree that you will not, directly or indirectly, use the App to:

• Post, transmit, or display content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit, or that promotes violence, self-harm, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• Stalk, intimidate, bully, or harass any other user;
• Solicit personal information from or contact minors inappropriately;
• Distribute spam, chain messages, scams, or fraudulent content;
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt the App or other users' devices;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App's operation or security;
• Use the App in a way that violates any law or the rights of others.

User-supplied content — including usernames, nicknames, public profile information, and report submissions — is subject to these terms.

3. Reporting and Enforcement

We provide in-app tools for users to report objectionable content or abusive behavior, and to block other users. We take user safety seriously and will:

• Review user reports within 24 hours of receipt;
• Remove objectionable content;
• Suspend or permanently terminate accounts of users who violate this Agreement, with or without prior notice and at our sole discretion;
• Cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We reserve the right to take any action we deem necessary to keep the community safe.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you provide through the App. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and provide the App. You are solely responsible for the content you provide and warrant that you have the right to submit it.

5. Account Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App at Settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and immediate.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, TO USE THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for any reason, including but not limited to violation of this Agreement. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.

9. Apple Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this Agreement and may enforce its terms.

10. Changes

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
